Private Villa

The Villa is located on top of the hill facing Canada Bay and the living area opens up to the view. The architectural design takes advantage from the position enhancing the light and the panorama. The main entrance is located on the opposite side adjacent the main road and here the design of the façade is more austere but still wide open. The exteriors are composed of an architectural garden studied to host some local types of plants and the floor is composed by big stone slabs. The lighting is conceived to enhance the architectural forms, minimizing the impact to the interiors.

Private Villa

The Villa is about 350 sqm located to the south coast of Sydney facing the ocean. The architectural design responds to the nature of the environment and both are opening to the panoramic views. The materials utilized for the external finishes are made of natural and local stones, merging with the existing landscape, while the interiors are conceived to give space and usability with elegance and simple forms. The areas dedicated to the nature, are designed in relation to the architecture of the villa and local essences, giving a more pleasant warmth appeal.

Ex-Odeon Cinema

The proposal for the redevelopment of the existing Cinema Odeon consists of incorporating commercial offices at the ground and first floor and residential accommodations in the second and third floor and two underground levels for parking, reusing the existing volumes. The concept is to divide the building in two solids to embrace the panoramic view from the hill treating the architectural geometry of each floor with full and empty volumes. To enhance the perception of the depth, the facades have been treated with vertical moldings and the roofs with white shading devices to replicate and return the same design.
